First Post

Hey everybody!
So this is my first post, and I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I'm going to use this blog for... a journal would be too personal, and my daily life is just so boring! : )
But for now, maybe I should just introduce myself. I'm Jenny. I'm an official Southerner... I live in suburbia, which is okay except for the monotonous vibe. Nothing scandalous has happened since the neighbors painted their house the color of an eggplant.
So far my life has been rather rocky... but that's normal considering the fact that I have a little sister... and parents. I have one of the most unique schooling experiences: a Classical Christian School. Yes, the uniforms are horrendous.
I am a Christian, and a member at a really great church. My life group teachers are amazing, except for the fact that one of them has a bad habit of randomly saying: "herkey toe touch." Cheerleading as a teenager has left its mark on her.
I'm one of those people most everybody gets along with. I'm nice to everybody, and meeting new people is just the most fun thing ever, except for the crushing awkwardness. Most people think I'm really crazy when they first meet me, probably because I shake their hand to begin with, but I'm a fun person to be around!
My class at school thinks I'm just the most embarassing person ever because I laugh and smile all the time. Sometimes I can't even give a speech without having to stop and take a breather from the desperate hilarity of the content.
On that point, I like to think I have interesting hobbies and interests. I enjoy reading, but only things that are very well written. Classical novels are the best ones, seriously. ( Yes, Twilight Series addicts, the books are a classic! ) My other hobby is movie watching. I am so addicted to films, it's really probably not healthy. My dad has a huge old movie collection, and I am constantly popping one into the TV. I can also knit, but not very well. I really enjoy all kinds of music, especially when I can connect in some way to the words.
